Ignyto/Managed services cost

What Salesforce managed services cost, and what drives the number.

Ignyto does not publish a rate card, because a monthly figure quoted without seeing your Salesforce is a guess. What we can do is explain exactly what drives the cost, so you can compare quotes properly and spot the ones that have priced the risk rather than the work.

01 — Cost drivers

Six things that move the monthly number.

Platform complexity

Number of clouds, custom code, automation debt and integrations. A ten-year-old build costs more to run than a clean one.

Hours committed

Retainers are sized in monthly hours. More hours lowers the effective rate, which is why annual terms price better than monthly.

Seniority required

Architecture and integration work carries a different rate to administrative change. Most need a mix.

Support versus enhancement

A reactive break-fix service is cheaper per hour and returns less. Proactive roadmap delivery costs more and compounds.

Integration surface

Every integration is something that can break. Where Salesforce is connected to ERP or finance systems, more standing capacity is needed.

Number of users and adoption

Large user bases generate more change requests and need more retraining, which affects the hours you should commit.

02 — How to compare quotes

Ask every provider the same four things.

How is hour consumption reported?

That is governed by the service agreement, so get the wording in writing. Ignyto reports consumption against contracted hours monthly, which is the number that matters either way.

Who is the named contact?

A named team that knows your Salesforce versus a rotating queue is the single biggest difference in service quality.

Are releases included?

Three Salesforce releases a year land whether or not anyone is watching. Ask if handling them is in the retainer.

What is reported monthly?

Consumption against contracted hours, in writing, is the minimum. Adoption reporting is better.

03 — Common questions

Asked before every engagement.

How much do Salesforce managed services cost?

Salesforce managed services are normally priced as a monthly retainer based on the hours committed and the seniority of consultant required. Ignyto quotes after a short review of your Salesforce rather than from a price list, because the right number depends on how complex it is and how much of the work is enhancement rather than support.

What is included in a Salesforce managed service retainer?

An Ignyto managed service includes proactive platform monitoring, release management for the three annual Salesforce releases, enhancement delivery against a quarterly roadmap, reactive support through the client portal, and a quarterly review of adoption and consumption.

Is a managed service cheaper than hiring a Salesforce admin?

It depends on scope. A single admin cannot cover architecture, integration, Marketing Cloud and Agentforce. A managed service gives access to every certified skill without carrying all of it as salary, which is why many clients run both.

How are unused hours treated?

Treat rollover as a contract question rather than an assumption. Ignyto sets out how contracted hours are consumed and reported in the service agreement itself, so ask any provider for that clause in writing before you sign.
