Privacy policy

How Ignyto Limited collects, uses and protects personal data across this website, our marketing and our client engagements.

Last updated August 2026

Who we are

Ignyto Limited is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Our registered and postal address is 27 Old Gloucester Street, London WC1N 3AX, United Kingdom. Ignyto also operates offices in Manchester and Dublin.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to you and to run our business.

  • Contact details you submit through forms on this site — name, work email, company, telephone number and the description of your enquiry.
  • Marketing engagement data, such as whether an email we sent was opened or a link was followed.
  • Website usage data collected through cookies and analytics, including pages viewed, referring source and approximate location derived from IP address.
  • Information you provide during a project engagement, including the content of correspondence and any data needed to configure your Salesforce environment.

Why we use it

We rely on legitimate interests to respond to business enquiries, deliver services and improve this website. We rely on consent for marketing email, which you can withdraw at any time. Where we process data as part of delivering a project for a client, we act as a processor under that client’s instructions and under a written agreement.

Marketing

Our marketing runs on Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement. If you opt in, we may send occasional updates about Salesforce, our services and our published guidance. Every message carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.

Who we share it with

  • Salesforce, as the provider of our CRM and marketing platform.
  • Our professional advisers, where they are bound by confidentiality.
  • Analytics and infrastructure providers listed in our cookie policy.
  • Regulators or law enforcement, where we are legally required to do so.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share your details with other partners for their own marketing.

International transfers

Some of our providers process data outside the UK and EEA. Where that happens, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Enquiry data is retained for as long as there is a live business relationship or prospect, and reviewed periodically thereafter. Client project records are retained for the duration of the engagement and for the period required by our contractual and legal obligations.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law you have the right to request access to your personal data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data erased, to restrict or object to processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. You can also withdraw marketing consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us through this website. We respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK, or to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland.

Security

Ignyto holds Salesforce Summit partner status and applies the same security discipline internally that we build for clients — least-privilege access, multi-factor authentication, and encryption of data in transit and at rest.

Changes

We update this policy when our processing changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.

Questions about this policy? Use the contact form and mark your enquiry for the attention of the data protection lead.
